Inspiration
The Cavoren Flush Mount Ceiling Light started from the stone wellheads in the courtyards of old Italian farmhouses, a thick, rounded ring of pale travertine set over the opening of the well. Lean over the edge and you see the worn, pitted stone curving down toward a small circle of light at the bottom. We turned that ring upside down and put it on the ceiling, a soft, rounded band of travertine with the light sitting inside it, where the water used to be.
Natural travertine
The shade is cut from natural travertine. Its banding, color and open pores differ on every piece, so no two lights look exactly the same.

FAQ
Is the shade real travertine?
Yes. The shade is cut from natural travertine, so its banding, color and pores vary from piece to piece. Dust it with a dry cloth and keep acidic cleaners off the stone.
Does it work with low ceilings?
Yes. It drops only 18cm/7.1″, which leaves about 89″ of clearance under a standard 8 ft ceiling, so it works in hallways, closets and bedrooms with low ceilings.
Does light come through the stone?
No. Travertine is solid, so the light goes down through the open bottom of the shade, and the inner rim of the stone glows warm around it.
Is a bulb included, and how is it installed?
Yes. It comes with one E26 or E27 bulb in warm 3000K light. E26 is the standard screw base used in the US. It is hardwired to a ceiling junction box, so we recommend a licensed electrician for installation.
