Inspiration
The Perravie Table Lamp started from the stacking toy on a nursery shelf, a set of chunky pastel rings in pink, yellow and blue that a toddler piles up one by one on a round base, never quite in the right order. The rings were ribbed so small hands could grip them, and little beads or flowers sat between them. We stacked the same shapes into a lamp base, kept the ridges and the soft colors, and topped it with a simple pleated shade.

Beige or Blue?
Beige has a cream base with lilac bead spacers and sits well in a warm, neutral room. Blue has a pale blue base with blue flower spacers and suits a nursery, a kids' room or a cooler color scheme.
Is the base ceramic?
No. The base is resin, so it is lighter than ceramic and less likely to chip or break if knocked over, which helps on a kids' nightstand or a dorm desk.
How bright is it?
It gives a soft light in three colors: warm, natural and cool white. The pleated shade sends most of the light down onto the table and lets some glow through the folds, which suits a bedside, a desk or a nursery at night.
Is a bulb included, and how do I turn it on?
