Inspiration
The Petralune Pendant Lamp started from the bellflowers that grow over old stone garden walls in the Italian countryside, each flower hanging its head on a thin stem with its rim opening out in soft waves. Against the pale, pitted stone of the wall, the flowers and the stone look almost the same color. We made the flower out of the wall itself: a bell of travertine with a wavy, open rim, a small wooden cap where the stem meets it, and a twisted cord in place of the stem.
Natural travertine
Each shade is cut from natural travertine. Its banding, color and open pores differ on every shade, so on the 2-, 3- and 4-light versions the shades will not match exactly.

Which option should I choose?
The Single suits a kitchen sink, a breakfast nook or a bedside. The 2-Light (21.7″ bar) fits a small island or a round table, the 3-Light (31.5″ bar) an island or dining table of about 6 ft, and the 4-Light (39.4″ bar) a longer island or table of 7–8 ft.
Is the shade real travertine?
Yes. Each shade is cut from natural travertine, so the banding, color and pores vary from shade to shade. Dust it with a dry cloth and keep acidic cleaners off the stone.
Does light come through the stone?
No. Travertine is solid, so the light goes down through the open bottom onto the counter or table, and the inside of the wavy rim glows warm around the bulb.
Are bulbs included, and how is it installed?
Yes. Each shade comes with one E26 or E27 bulb in warm 3000K light. The lamp is hardwired to a ceiling junction box, so we recommend a licensed electrician, and the hanging height of each shade is set on its cord during installation, up to 150cm/59″ overall.
