Inspiration
The Tessamira Pendant Lamp started from the shell mosaic boxes and picture frames in old seaside souvenir shops, covered edge to edge in small square pieces of shell, some pearly white, some streaked with pink and violet. On the shelf beside them sat a few smooth beach stones, stacked one on top of another. We covered a simple cone shade with those same small shell squares, and stacked three rounded pieces of stone above it where the cord comes down.
Natural shell and stone
The shade is covered in natural shell tiles and the beads are natural travertine. The color, pattern and pores differ on every piece, so no two lamps look exactly the same.

Ivory or Multicolor?
Ivory uses pale, pearly shell tiles that blend into a white or neutral kitchen. Multicolor mixes in shell tiles with pink, violet and brown streaks, for a bolder coastal look.
Are the shell and stone real?
Yes. The shade is covered in natural shell tiles and the beads are natural travertine, so color and pattern vary from lamp to lamp. Dust them with a dry cloth and keep water and acidic cleaners off.
How many do I need over a kitchen island?
At 30cm/11.8″ wide, two work over an island of about 5–6 ft, and three over an island of 7–8 ft. Mixing one Multicolor between two Ivory also works. A single one fits a breakfast nook or a bedside.
How is it installed?
It takes one E26 or E27 bulb and is hardwired to a ceiling junction box, so we recommend a licensed electrician. The 150cm/59″ cord is adjusted during installation to set your hanging height.
